Freelance FE Architect/Lead Developer required for a CMS migration project.
Ideally a visionary architect to join a small, dynamic team within their Website Domain, playing a pivotal role in shaping the future of their eCommerce platform, particularly around their CMS.
You'll be instrumental in evolving their front-end architecture, moving towards a more modern, efficient, and scalable solution. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a significant transformation, working with cutting-edge technologies and collaborating with various cross-functional teams. This is a very hands-on role working closely with the developers.
Essential duties and responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and evolution of our front-end systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Drive technical decision-making and influence the overall technology roadmap.
- Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Other requirement (education, experiences)
- We're looking for someone with a proven track record in complex front-end projects, ideally within a high-traffic, cloud-hosted microservices environment. Experience with different CMS systems and the ability to drive strategic technical decisions are highly valued.
- We're looking for a strong communicator, a natural problem-solver, and ready to take ownership of a critical initiative
- Extensive experience as a Front End Architect.
- Demonstrable experience with large-scale front-end application transformations.
- Experience developing with Vue.js and Nuxt.js.
- Familiarity with various CMS approaches.
- Strong communication and leadership skills
