Network & Security Engineer, Zurich
Up to 140,000 CHF
Permanent Employment basis, based in Zurich. Hybrid role - 3 days on site per week
We are looking for a skilled network and security professional to take a lead role in designing, deploying, and maintaining a variety of LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, and security infrastructures across diverse environments.
You will also play a key role in developing and operating secure remote access solutions, including VPN, ZTNA, and EDR technologies. As part of your responsibilities, you’ll provide expert guidance to our 1st level support team and take on complex troubleshooting tasks within our 2nd and 3rd level support structure.
This role includes the opportunity to work on challenging and innovative network and security projects both domestically and internationally.
What you bring:
- Hands-on experience with network infrastructure including LAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and cloud-based security
- Deep technical knowledge of Cisco and/or Fortinet technologies
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud, particularly in the areas of connectivity and security
- Exposure to tools and solutions from vendors such as Check Point, Infoblox, VMware NSX-T, Cisco Umbrella, and Zscaler is a plus
- Practical experience in network automation using scripting languages or tools like Python, Ansible, or Postman
- A structured and analytical mindset with a proactive, solution-driven approach
- Strong team player with excellent customer orientation and the ability to work with both national and international clients
