Senior Network Engineer, Switzerland
Up to 120,000 CHF + Benefits
Based in Switzerland. Permanent employment basis, Full-time with some flexible home office
On behalf of my client, a leading Swiss telecommunication company and Cisco`s Golden partner we are seeking a passionate Senior Network Engineer (80-100%) with a knack for networks and a zest for engineering and operations. You'll rock as a service-oriented team player, bringing your initiative and forward drive to the table.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
- Manage and execute challenging network projects independently
- Rock the IP/MPLS and FTTH networks and related services
- Support project teams in setting up awesome network initiatives
- Troubleshoot like a pro during incidents and support management
- Plan and execute change and migration projects like a boss
- Be part of the 24/7 on-call rotation
Requirements for this cool gig:
- Solid training in computer science/telecommunications
- Loads of experience in IP/MPLS (LDP, ISIS, MP-BGP)
- CCNP/CCIE level certification or equivalent (Nokia, anyone?)
- Quick learner with a strong tech foundation
- Bonus points if you're into automation with Ansible/Python
- Interest in ISP topics like DWDM, MPLS, IP, Security Engineering, etc.
- Fluent in German and proficient in subject-specific English
